I contributed to an episode of 91.7 WICB FM’s Ithaca Now podcast titled "Artificial Turf Under Fire in Ithaca," which aired on February 23, 2025. The episode featured my interview with Yayoi Koizumi, founder of Zero Waste Ithaca, about the lawsuit against Cornell University and the City of Ithaca Planning Board over PFAS pollution from artificial turf. We explored the environmental concerns, legal arguments, and public health risks tied to this local controversy.

Our News Department provided real-time polling updates, in-depth reporting, and live interviews with guests. As part of the team, I helped deliver timely political coverage, incorporating election-related segments from Ithaca Now. This special highlighted our ability to provide professional, informative reporting during a critical national event

Investigative Documentary

At Ithaca College, my peers and I created a documentary exploring the ethics of AI-generated imagery in reporting human suffering. We investigated a case where an AI-altered image by Meysam Azarneshin appeared in a UN document without disclosure. Interviewing experts like Dario Veréb and Matthew Abbott, we analyzed similar projects to assess AI's impact on journalistic integrity.

A documentary created by Ithaca College (IC) student journalists: Alefiya Presswala, Jackie Vickery, Kai Lincke, Malcolm Alexander, Xinyi Qin (Dona) for Journalism Ethics class in April 2024.

Arts & Culture Broadcast Package

At Ithaca College, I had the opportunity to produce a broadcast package on local band Vicious Fishes as they celebrate their five-year anniversary. The piece looks back at the band's history and what's kept them going for half a decade.
